The Gibb River Road is a legendary 660km / 410mi dirt track right through the heart of the remote Kimberley region in north western Australia. Originally the road was created to transport cattle to and from the many stations along the way. During the wet season the route is closed due to flooding.
Mirage was photographed at Manning Creek early in the morning. Manning Creek is one of the many beautiful lush waterways along the Gibb.
