The Gibb River Road is a legendary 660km / 410mi dirt track right through the heart of the remote Kimberley region in north western Australia. Originally the road was created to transport cattle to and from the many stations along the way. During the wet season the route is closed due to flooding.
Turning Point was taken in the El Questro Gorge on the very eastern end of the Gibb. A spectacular lush gorge cutting through an otherwise dry country. This beautiful waterfall and plunge pool were the reward of hiking all the way to the end of the canyon.
