A shot with the sun in the frame, which is unusual for me. I'm usually more of a fan of sunlight about 90 degrees to the left or right. Or just no direct sunlight at all, when I shoot just before the sun rises and the light is still soft. I think the bright sun works in this shot though, so the experiment hasn't failed :).
This was a nice sunrise at the Bamburgh Castle along the Northumberland coast. Before the sun rose I was shooting on the beach. But as soon as the first sunlight hit the dunes, I rushed up to catch the light on the grasses in the foreground. In ended up to be a very productive morning!
